Bio
“I create music that people can relate to; that speaks to them no matter their background or current state of living.”
Having lived all over the east coast before settling in Cleveland, Ohio, Fred Council has seen much and funneled it all into his music. Captivated by sounds and their effects at the age of 17, Fred knew that making music was how he would spend his life. So, he began to cultivate his passion until creating music in some form or another became as much a part of daily living as choosing which sugar cereal to eat for breakfast.
Now, Fred is CEO of Pardon The Movement Music and visionary behind Pardonthemovement.net. Each is a vehicle for bringing a Christian perspective to urban life. As a producer he has worked with Eshon Burgundy, Bumps Inf, Armonde Badger, Cassandra Woodard and many others, helping to shape their sound and amplify their voice. As an artist he has featured on True Story’s Building Blocks as well as Eshon Burgundy’s Blood Rushing to My Head.
Through Pardonthemovement.net, Fred has gathered writers, stylists, preachers, fitness gurus, musicians and inspirational thinkers to contribute a wide range of content, bringing light to the underground of Christian urban culture both nationally and regionally. He says, “I want to create a space where life is presented through art from a Christian perspective.”
